  • Theoretical basis for determining valve diameter of semi-fluid material filling -- Anti-drip design
    Semi-fluid refers to the fluid material with the viscosity range of 1000-10000mPa ·s. When filling this kind of the material, often because of the filling valve diameter selection is not reasonable and the situation of leakage, which not only affects the filling accuracy, but also cause pollution. In actual filling, the filling problem of viscous materials is often solved by changing the caliber multiple times or using auxiliary mechanisms. This method is not only time-consuming and labor-intensive, but also increases the manufacturing cost. If it can be analyzed theoretically, the surface tension of the material can be used to prevent dripping initially, and the caliber of the filling valve can be selected by the calculation method, and then a good effect will be obtained. This paper mainly analyzes the influence of the viscosity, temperature and surface tension of semi-fluid materials on the diameter of the filling valve, and finally determines the optimal diameter of the filling valve. 1. The relationship between viscosity and temperature of semi-fluid. The viscosity of semi-fluid materials is greatly affected by temperature and usually decreases exponentially. Because the relationship between the viscosity and temperature of the semi-fluid measured by the experiment is only some discrete points, in order to facilitate the analysis, this paper constructs a relatively simple mathematical model under the premise of ensuring the accuracy.   • Comparison of the beer sterilization
    In beer production, there are three common sterilization methods :(1) rapid flow Pasteur sterilization; (2) tunnel Pasteur sterilization; (3) aseptic filtration. Each of these three methods has advantages and disadvantages. Pasteurization, of any kind, kills living yeasts and bacteria in beer by heating it. When handled according to the specifications, the beer is biologically stable, allowing it to be stored at room temperature for months without going bad. The same effect can be achieved by using aseptic filtration, the basic principle of which is to pass the beer through a filter and remove the microorganisms from the beer. In Pasteur tunnel pasteurization, bottles or cans with beer are sent through conveyors into a tunnel, where hot water is sprayed to keep the temperature of the beer above 60℃ for a period of time and then cold water will spray to cool the beer. When rapid flow Pasteurization is used, the beer passes through two heat exchangers. The first one heats the beer to more than 70℃ and stays there for a few seconds. The second heat exchanger will cool the beer. All three methods affect the flavor of the beer, but the degree of damage is not the same. Aseptic filtration will reduce the mellow feeling and color of beer. The filter will remove the macromolecules from the beer, and these macromolecules, such as protein and dextrin, are part of the flavor and color of the beer. So, aseptic filtration is more suitable for the production of clear beers. Pasteur sterilization accelerates the oxidation of beer after a period of heating, which reduces the flavor. The degree of damage is directly related to the heating temperature, time and beer itself. Obviously, the less air at the top of the bottle, the less pasteurization will have an effect if the hot wort is properly treated. In contrast, the effect of rapid pasteurization on beer is less, although the heating temperature is high, but the duration is very short, and before sterilization, beer has been heated, contains less oxygen, and rapid pasteurization requires the use of aseptic filling, biological stability is better.   • Filling precision analysis of high tank
    1. Filling principle of high tank. The filling principle of the high tank is to use the constant pressure generated by the constant liquid level relative to the outlet position of the filling tube. When the pressure is constant, the liquid flow rate at the outlet of the filling tube is constant. As the cross section area of the pipeline is constant, the amount of liquid flowing out of the filling tube is also relatively constant per unit time. In view of this situation, it can be seen that the three factors determining the filling accuracy are "flow rate, time and area of tube section". At the same time, when external pipes are used to provide liquid to the high-level tank, the pressure in the external pipes should be stable. If the pressure in the external pipe is unstable, the liquid level in the high tank will fluctuate greatly, resulting in the deviation of filling accuracy. B) Diaphragm valve: As the main components of flow regulation, if the diaphragm valve throttle mouth is stable, no change after adjustment, so the amount of outflow is stable, but is actually produce fluctuations, practice has proved that the diaphragm valve will be affected by the mechanical vibration, fluid flow, the clearance between the adjusting lever and even diaphragm, adjust the clearance between the rod and the fixed seat and other factors, the throttling orifice flow fluctuations, Thus affecting the filling accuracy. C) Filling tube: For filling tube, practice has proved that if the diameter of the tube is too large and the filling amount is small, the precision will be greatly reduced. If the diameter of the tube is too small, according to the analysis of the above three elements, we can judge that it will take longer to adjust the flow of the equipment, resulting in a great waste. 3. Suggestion A) The inlet of the high tank shall be able to withstand a pressure of 0.3 Mpa. That is, the buoyancy generated by floating ball in the tank should be able to overcome the pressure of 0.3Mpa in the pipe outside the tank, so that the feed spool is in a closed state. In actual production, it is suggested to keep 0.1Mpa-0.15Mpa-as far as possible to make the valve plate more rigid, so that it can reduce the changes caused by mechanical vibration and liquid flow. B) If there are many equipment, the automatic back pressure valve can be connected in the circuit to ensure the stability of liquid supply pipeline pressure. 4. Output end: As for the output end, since the pitch of the star wheel is generally greater than the center distance when the two bottles are in contact, it needs to be designed as a variable pitch, and the pitch is gradually increased according to the law of constant acceleration until the pitch increases to the same as the star wheel. Of course, the required screw can also be designed according to the process requirements of different enterprises, but in processing, the more complex the curve is, the more difficult it is to process. Ordinary machine tools and economical CNC machine tools do not have the function of processing screw rods.   • How to install and debug the filling machine
    1. Installation of filling machine According to the different models and specifications of the filling machine, refer to the accompanying manual for installation. For the small filling machine, it is not required to build a foundation, it only needs to be installed on a flat workshop floor, lay a horizontal reference, adjust the elevation of the bottle-in and bottle-out chain belts according to the layout drawing, and adjust the feet so that the whole machine load is evenly distributed. For large bottling and capping machines, a solid installation base is required. When installing, it is necessary to lay a good level benchmark, especially when it is connected with the capping machine, the bottle inlet and bottle outlet belts of the two parts must be at the same level. In order to ensure smooth bottle delivery, the bottle-in holding plate under the bottle-in star wheel should be 0.5-1mm higher than the bottle-supporting table; the bottle-out holding plate under the middle star wheel should be 0.5-1mm lower than the bottle-supporting table. Check whether the transmission joints are running freely, and there must be no clamping interference. The horizontal part of the inlet pipe should have a certain slope to facilitate emptying and air discharge. Make sure that the load is carried evenly on each foot. Debugging of filling machine After confirming that the filling machine is installed, it can be debugged step by step as follows. 1) Replace and assemble suitable accessories according to the type of bottle to be filled, and adjust all parts, including the distance between the bottle feeding screw and guide rod, the safety switch of the side guard, the star wheel, liquid storage tank and the adjustment of the height of capping head, etc. 2) Thoroughly clean the liquid storage tank, liquid material pipeline and gas pipeline to ensure that there are no foreign objects. Simultaneously perform hydrostatic test on the liquid storage tank and pipeline. 3) Carefully check whether the wiring of the electrical control cabinet is correct, and the main switch can only be turned on after turning the equipment manually without clamping. Start the equipment in jog mode to check whether there is any abnormality. 4) Start the machine at low speed, check the performance of starting, braking, emergency stop and speed regulation. Then input an empty bottle at low speed, check whether it can pass through the bottle feeding screw, guide rod and star wheel, etc., and whether each control block can respond sensitively. Check whether the cap dropping is unobstructed and smooth, and whether the capping is tight. After that, adjust the values of the instruments on the liquid and gas control cabinet according to the filling requirements. 5) Check the liquid level and pressure of the liquid storage tank, conduct filling test, adjust the filling head, and control the bottling liquid level. 3. Maintenance of filling machine During the running of the filling machine, regular maintenance must be carried out as required. First of all, it is necessary to ensure that the lubrication state of the equipment must be good. Each lubrication point must be filled with lubricating grease in time to maintain the oil level of each oil tank and the intact spray lubrication function. Timely replacement of various damaged parts such as seals, bottle conveying parts and wearing parts in transmission parts. Movable parts that are not adjusted for a long time, such as the liquid storage tank and the height adjustment device of the capper, etc., must be operated regularly to avoid corrosion. Regularly clean the liquid storage tank, infusion tube, filling valve and parts that may be in contact with the liquid material regularly as required. After each shift, liquid residue, oil, water and glass fragments should be removed to keep the equipment clean and hygienic.
